Hi!  My name is Meghan Rathert.  I am excited about the possibility of working with you.

I have observed a variety of levels of organization and chaos, as well as different perspectives on organization and chaos.  I understand how hard it can be to invite someone into your home.  Please be assured that I will meet you wherever you are in your organizational life.

My goal is to improve your situation with and for you: to teach you, to support you, to challenge you.  We will work alongside one another as we learn how you arrived in your current organizational situation, what organization means to you, and how to transform your spaces in such a way that allows you to maintain your new organizational lifestyle that we tailor to you.

My academic training includes an MSW (Master of Social Work), with a Concentration in Children, Youth, and Family and a Specialization in Management, as well as a degree in Psychology, with Minors in Business and French.  My work experience is varied.  A few categories are: child care worker, retail worker, administrative assistant, office manager, coordinator, grant writer, proofreader/editor, interviewer, relationship builder through multiple social service positions, and home visitor.  In every one of these positions, I was organizing some aspect of the job.  In some, I organized physical items in a classroom or a retail space.  In others, I created processes and streamlined forms.  In all of them, I practiced cultivating relationships.  As a home visitor, specifically, I met with concerned, emotional parents of children with diagnoses or developmental delays as we worked together to develop service plans to address their child's needs.

I am a member of the National Association of Productivity and Organizing Professionals (NAPO).  Also a member of the St. Louis Chapter of NAPO, I serve on the 2017-2018 Board as the Director of Communications and Technology.
